Hi!

My name is Collie Coburn Jr. I am married to an incredible woman named Dana, who is a teacher and bakes me way too many desserts. Life is good.

I have been the Children's Pastor at First Christian Church of Santa Maria since July 2009. Before that, I grew up in Hesperia, CA, with two amazing parents and two younger siblings who are pretty awesome as well. I graduated from Hope International University with a B.A. in Intercultural Studies, and then from Wheaton College with a M.A. in Historical and Systematic Theology. My family now lives in Lynden, WA, and during the rainy northwestern winters I have been known to call them and talk about the sunshine down here in California.

I'm learning new things about kids, families and ministry every day, and I hope this website does a good job of passing on what I learn. My goal is to help the families at FCC grow in their love of Christ, and to do everything I can to connect with other people doing the same work.
